Volunteer

At Little Hoof Heaven Sanctuary, many of our farm animals are discovering what it means to be truly seen, valued, and even cherished as companions. Each one has their own comfort level—some eagerly seek out human connection, while others gently let you know when they prefer space or have had enough interaction.

We welcome volunteers who are interested in engaging with the animals in ways that feel natural and respectful to both you and them. For those who enjoy close connection, grooming and brushing offer a quiet, hands-on way to build trust. Feeding provides a more spacious interaction, full of energy and anticipation, while still maintaining healthy boundaries. And for those who prefer to be present with the animals at a distance, tending to the pasture offers a peaceful way to contribute while sharing space with the herd.
